The joituz catalogue on the streaming services opens with fallout, released on 11 October 2025. Two days earlier, joituz had a guest spot on slightt’s knock my lights out. From there, a new single arrived roughly once a month.
The genre tags moved along the way. ain’t around in November was filed under jazz. Then hold on in January and jacket with 33angelz in March went out as R&B and soul. By April, with helping hand featuring Cosigns and then i can tell, the tag was back to alternative. It has stayed there since.
The class of 26′ EP followed on 27 May 2026. Its four tracks take their names from the four years of an American high school class. They run freshman, sophomore, junior with Noah Shepp, and senior. After that came roots with nightshade in August and sunburn with unrealgrave on 8 September.
joituz also works behind the desk. A May 2026 single by Yamahontop, anh yêu em, carries a joituz production credit. Meanwhile, the YouTube channel works as a beat shop, with indie rock type beats marked free or sold. Guest spots on Bugzii’s sedated and XLOGAN!’s she dumped me on my birthday also ran alongside the solo releases.
Car Seat Headrest is a well-known case of building a catalogue in public. Will Toledo started the project alone in 2010. The idea started small. A lonely cat waiting outside a bedroom door at night became a picture of something more human: attention in the daytime, then a closed door at night.
The lyric of the joituz single bored keeps that door at the centre. The narrator waits by “the door that closes every single night”. The hook then turns the cat’s tactic into a plan. First comes some noise right outside the bedroom door, and then, when nobody answers, the yelling gets louder.
Later lines drop the animal and keep the feeling. A heart given away and broken explains the rest: every new try at love now comes with a step back. As a result, the song reads as a restless, bittersweet single rather than a novelty about a pet.

The SoundCloud bio still describes an artist looking for a style. On the evidence of the last twelve months, that search now runs through alternative rock.
