Out Now: Hometown Feelin' by MIGGS, an Air Force Veteran's EP Closing on a Josie-Nominated Single
Four 2026 Singles and a New Title Track Gathered on One Rowdy Bay Records Release
Hometown Feelin’ is a five-song country EP from MIGGS, released on 14 August 2026 through Rowdy Bay Records. It opens with the new title track and gathers four singles from earlier in the year. That makes it a tidy summary of his 2026 so far.
MIGGS’s Hometown Feelin’ is now in our Country, Americana, Alt-Country playlist below, led by the title track, and the songs so far are tracked on his artist profile. The EP reached this desk through PopHits.Co Music Charts, which verifies independent artists and places their releases across its network of music news desks. Hit play on the title track first, then read on for the run of singles behind it.

From Your Country Song in 2024 to The Road So Far, the Singles Behind Hometown Feelin’
MIGGS came to country music from the U.S. Air Force. He is Texas-raised, now based in Maryland, and works as a Nashville recording artist. He has built the career independently, one release at a time.
The run started with Your Country Song in May 2024. I Miss You Dad followed in June and Spend My Days in August. In 2025 the pace picked up, with Never Far Away, All Dogs Go To Heaven, Promised You Forever, Something To Write About and PARTY RIDE, released on 4 July.

The titles show the two sides of the writing. I Miss You Dad and All Dogs Go To Heaven sit at the personal end. Meanwhile, PARTY RIDE and You Could Use A Beer sit at the party end. His website says his latest projects show a more personal side of his sound. In all, Spotify lists 17 releases before this EP.
Then came the album. The Road So Far arrived on 26 September 2025, alongside unplugged versions of three earlier songs. The record is on the Josie Music Awards 2026 nominee list, and so is the single One Sip Away. His own biography also lists two nominations from the International Singer-Songwriters Association.

Five Tracks in Under Seventeen Minutes, and the Maryland Shows That Follow Hometown Feelin’
The EP runs to 16 minutes and 41 seconds. It opens with Hometown Feelin’ at three minutes and 39 seconds, then moves through Ride or Die, the July single. Next comes Chasin’ Ghosts, which his biography calls a radio favourite. The shortest song, You Could Use A Beer, follows at two minutes and 50 seconds. Finally, it closes on One Sip Away, the Josie-nominated single from February.
Four of the five songs had a life as singles first. One Sip Away came out on 13 February, You Could Use A Beer on 3 April, Chasin’ Ghosts on 22 May and Ride or Die on 17 July. PARTY RIDE also returned in April as a Party MIX. So the EP gives the year’s singles one home, with the title track as the new song.
The sound covers both traditional and contemporary country. Every song stays under four minutes, which suits a live act. MIGGS is known for high-energy shows, and his catchphrase invites the crowd to get a little rowdy.
Who Hometown Feelin’ Is For
It is for listeners who follow independent country and like a record that gets to the point. Fans of party-ready country will find the lane familiar. Luke Bryan turned it into arena country, and his album Crash My Party was named Album of the Decade by the Academy of Country Music in 2019.
The veteran story has a precedent too. Craig Morgan served nine and a half years on active duty in the U.S. Army before his country career. His That’s What I Love About Sunday then spent four weeks at the top of the Billboard country chart. MIGGS brings a similar mix of service and plain-spoken songs, released independently.
What Comes Next for MIGGS
Next come the live dates. His official website lists a show at Stan and Joe’s Riverside in Galesville, Maryland, on Saturday 24 October. Another follows at Vida Taco Bar in Severna Park on Saturday 7 November. For a preview, the EP also has a short trailer on YouTube.
From the MusicDrops.News curator team: “Hometown Feelin’ is the right place to start with MIGGS. Every song on it has already been tested as a single this year, so a new listener gets the strongest of his 2026 in one sitting.”
