Mystic Wolf Released Collective Liberation in 2025, a Second EP Built on Ancestral Ritual
From the 2024 Debut Healing Is a Journey to Four Tracks for Agami Records
Collective Liberation, the second EP from Mystic Wolf, came out on 6 June 2025 through the Brazilian label Agami Records. It runs to four tracks and just under 22 minutes of organic electronic music. Folktronica rhythms carry chanted vocals and acoustic percussion throughout. Sixteen months on, its songs hold four of the top six places on the project’s Spotify page.
Mystic Wolf’s title track sits in the playlist below, and the full run of coverage is on Mystic Wolf’s artist profile. Before This EP, Mystic Wolf Found Listeners With the 2024 Debut Healing Is a Journey
Mystic Wolf is the project of Josh Schott. It first arrived in early 2024 with Healing Is a Journey, a debut EP released through Cafe De Anatolia, the organic house label. Because of that partnership, the tracks on Spotify carry both names, Mystic Wolf and Cafe De Anatolia.
The debut also drew press quickly. Indie Dock Music Blog reviewed it in February 2024 and counted five original tracks. Obscure Sound featured it in March, placing it between folktronica, chilled-out pop and new-age music. In that feature, Schott explains that the EP captures “the vibrational essence of the healing process that led me to making music and birthing this EP.” Last Day Deaf followed later that month.
In fact, those songs have not gone away. Cycle of Healing, Somos De La Tierra, Rebirth and Atonement all still sit in the project’s Spotify top ten. So the debut set out the sound the second EP develops: electronic rhythm carrying acoustic colour, with healing as the stated subject.
That matters for anyone arriving now. Collective Liberation is a second chapter, and it reads best next to the first one. The debut is about personal recovery. The follow-up widens the lens to land, kinship and community.

The Collective Liberation EP Runs to Four Folktronica Tracks Released Through Brazil’s Agami Records
The title track opens the EP. Illustrate Magazine heard trembling percussion and ghostly female vocals at the start, before a steady pulse arrives and a warm melody takes over. Dúthchas then follows, named after a Gaelic idea of inherited land and kinship.
Symbiocene is the third track. Its subject, as IGGY Magazine described it in a French-language review, is a future where people live alongside the rest of the living world rather than above it. The same track also appears on Echoes for Palestine, Volume 2, a compilation released by Cities and Memory and Deep Dive Sound. Pulse of Primal Alchemy closes the EP after just over five minutes.
The release also has a purpose beyond the music. Music Arena GH reported that the EP, made with Agami Records, supports the Guarani people of southern Brazil in their effort to reclaim their land. Similarly, Illustrate placed it in the label’s SEED 4: Humans and Spirituality release programme.
Listeners who follow Bonobo will know the method. Bonobo’s records pair downtempo beats with live instruments and recordings gathered from around the world, and Collective Liberation works the same way at a slower pace. However, fans of Nicola Cruz have a closer match. The French-Ecuadorian producer built a sound on Andean rhythms and ritual instruments set under electronic beats. Mystic Wolf covers similar ground with chant and percussion.
First of all, the EP fits organic house and downtempo playlists. It also suits listeners from medicine music, tribal and ethno house circles, and anyone who uses music for meditation or slow movement.

What Came After the EP, From an October 2025 Single to a Live Set Opening for Kr3ture
The next step arrived on 7 October 2025. We are Notes of the Cosmos is a short track of under two minutes, released through High Vibe Records according to the project’s Facebook page. It now sits first on the project’s Spotify page, one place above Symbiocene. A second version, tuned to C = 128Hz, followed on 23 September 2026.
Mystic Wolf also performs. A month before the EP, the project’s YouTube channel posted a live set called Pathfinder, billed as dance meditation. A second video followed in June 2026, showing a live set opening for Kr3ture.
Overall, each step keeps the same subject. Healing, land and connection run from the 2024 debut through Collective Liberation, and they now travel from the studio into live sets built for movement.
From the MusicDrops.News Curator Team: “Collective Liberation earns its place through its title track. Chanted voices and percussion arrive first, and the electronic pulse waits its turn, so the EP plays like something meant to be shared in a room rather than skipped on a phone.”
