DESIGN by MP3MARQUEE Makes Six Singles in Seven Months, Ahead of Three Southern Shows in November
An Independent Rap Artist, Producer and Engineer Heads Into Alabama and Tennessee Dates
DESIGN by MP3MARQUEE is out now. The single came out on 5 October 2026 and runs to one minute and fifty-eight seconds. The detail worth noting sits on the copyright line: this is the second release under the name MARQUEE MOMENTS, after two years of records under CrazyHouseINC.
MP3MARQUEE is in the playlist below with DESIGN, and the artist’s full coverage sits on the MP3MARQUEE profile. This single came to the desk through PopHits.Co Music Charts, the programme that verifies independent artists and places their releases across its network of music news titles. Listen before the November shows, then read on.

Two Years of Singles Before DESIGN
The catalogue starts in March 2024. ITS A RN HOLIDAY, Vol. 1 came first, a three-track release. After that, three singles followed that year: NSANEEE, SHITTALKERZ with Sheo The Mad God, and PAYROLL with H3NNY.
Then the pace picked up. WELCOME2THEHAM arrived in October 2025 and WESTSIDEBLUEZ a month later. On 8 February 2026 came the album 5 A B O V E, fifteen tracks long and still the biggest release in the catalogue.
After the album, the singles settled into a monthly rhythm. BREAKTHECURSE landed in April, 2MUCH2LOSE in May and CHITCHAT in June. IFTHESHOEFITS followed on 22 July. It runs to two minutes and fifty-one seconds, and its lyric video went up on YouTube on 11 September. FEELTHEBASS came out on 7 September, and it was the first to carry the MARQUEE MOMENTS name. DESIGN is the sixth single since April.

DESIGN Is a Short, Colourful MP3MARQUEE Single About Keeping Dreams Away From Doubters
The idea behind DESIGN is simple and personal. Your dreams deserve support. And the people who cannot see the vision should not be around while you build it. That is the whole point of the song, and at under two minutes it does not waste time getting there.
The artist calls it a lush and colourful release, made for listeners who like colourful-sounding songs. That fits the way the work gets made. On the Linktree linked from the Instagram bio, MP3MARQUEE introduces the act as artist, producer and engineer, and the leader of the Marquee Movement.

The credits also back that up. Christopher Marquis Samuel wrote and composed DESIGN. MP3MARQUEE is credited as the studio producer and on the vocal. So the single is built close to home, from the writing to the session.
The release side is just as hands-on. DESIGN came out through DistroKid, the self-release service, with no label between the artist and the streaming services. The Instagram bio sums up the attitude in five words: yes, I make music. Ticket links, the new single and a gallery called MARQUEE MOMENTS all sit on the same Linktree page, so one link carries the whole operation.
Colour and independence have met in rap before. Chance the Rapper released Coloring Book in 2016 without a record label. In 2017 it won the Grammy for Best Rap Album, the first streaming-only album to win a Grammy. DESIGN is a far smaller release, but it makes the same bet: a bright record, put out on the artist’s own terms.
Where MP3MARQUEE Takes DESIGN Next, From Morris and Huntsville to Chattanooga in November
Next, the music goes to the stage. Three shows are booked for November. First comes Vulcan Voltage 3 in Morris, Alabama, on 7 November. Next is Vegas in the South in Huntsville, Alabama, on 21 November. Last is the Scenic City Showcase in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on 28 November, named for the city’s long-standing nickname. Tickets for all three are on the MP3MARQUEE Linktree.
Meanwhile, the release schedule matters too. Six singles in seven months is a working pace, and the copyright line now carries the MARQUEE MOMENTS name. Nipsey Hussle made that idea famous. In 2013 he sold physical copies of his mixtape Crenshaw for 100 dollars each and kept his music under his own label. An independent artist who owns the catalogue owns the trajectory.
DESIGN is for listeners who follow independent rap release by release, and for anyone near Morris, Huntsville or Chattanooga this month. At under two minutes, it is shorter than IFTHESHOEFITS by nearly a minute. It is short enough to play twice before deciding.
MusicDrops.News’s curator team: “Play DESIGN, then go back to 5 A B O V E from February. The album is the long statement, and the singles since are the follow-through, one a month.”
