The American Artist Picks up His 2022 Series, with Kevin Bessey on Two Tracks

Truth303 released Lo-Fi and Feels 2 on 6 October 2026, eleven tracks from the independent American hip-hop artist. It is the second volume of a series he started four years earlier. Kevin Bessey joins him on two of the songs.

Truth303’s Illusion is in our hip-hop playlist below, and his full run of coverage sits on Truth303’s artist profile. Lo-Fi and Feels 2 came to this desk through PopHits.Co Music Charts, which verifies independent artists and places their releases across its network of music news desks. Listen to the album first, then read on for where it sits in his catalogue.

Before Lo-Fi and Feels 2, Truth303 Built Two Series and a Weekly Habit of Singles

The catalogue starts in April 2021, with his first single on Apple Music. Originally from Denver, Colorado, he now lives and performs in Las Vegas, United States. His own bio promises that no two Truth projects sound the same, and the release list backs that up.

The first Lo-Fi and Feels arrived on 21 October 2022. It ran to ten tracks, opened with Lo-Vibe and closed on C’est la Vie, with VNGL. Like the new one, it collected songs he had already put out as singles, among them Burn Bright, White Lines and Grow Up from 2021.

Two months later he started a second series with Bars, and it got its own part two in 2025. So the pattern was set early: two lines of work running side by side, each one coming back with a number.

Then the pace picked up. In 2024 he put out more than 20 singles of his own, with a new one most weeks from June to December. Features and Friends, a five-track EP, followed at the end of 2025.

Lo-Fi and Feels 2 Opens With Kevin Bessey and Gathers Three Years of Truth303 Singles

The album opens with Floating Away, featuring Kevin Bessey, and closes on What Are You Waiting For?. Kevin Bessey returns on Nice To Meet You, the tenth track, so the guest frames the record at both ends.

The songs come from a long stretch. The oldest, Take Me Back, first came out in October 2023, and the newest single, What Are You Waiting For?, in August 2026. Illusion is the one track that arrived with the album. That is the same method as volume one: a run of singles first, then the collection.

Read the titles in order and a theme appears. Floating Away, Drowning, Off A Cliff and Illusion all deal with losing your footing, while Take Me Back and Nice To Meet You look for something steady. He calls the project genre-bending and experimental, and the sequence moves between those two moods rather than settling in one.

The lo-fi name points to a clear tradition. Nujabes, often called the godfather of lo-fi hip-hop, helped score the anime Samurai Champloo in 2004, and that soundtrack built a cult following in the West. The new album borrows the label of that lineage for a set of songs that put mood ahead of volume.

What Comes Next for Truth303, From the Single Preach to a Label Home at Warner ADA

The next run has already started. Preach, released on 15 September 2026, three weeks before the album, is not on it. On past form, that is how the next collection begins.

The business side has moved too. His site lists him as a member of Free Agent Music, a sublabel of Warner ADA, which gives an independent catalogue a wider route to stores.

Numbered series can run for a long time. Kid Cudi released Man on the Moon: The End of Day in 2009 and came back to the same title for a third part in 2020. Truth303 now has two series with a second volume each, so a third chapter in either would fit the way he works.

This is for listeners who build late-night playlists out of independent hip-hop and want a full album rather than a single. It also suits anyone who missed the singles and wants the last three years of this side of his catalogue in one place.

MusicDrops.News’s curator team: “Start with Floating Away. At four minutes and 20 seconds it is the longest song on the album, and it sets the pace for the ten tracks that follow.”

Four years after the first volume, the sequel shows the series was always a plan. The singles came first again, the album collected them, and the next run is already under way.

Find the album on Apple Music too. Then follow Truth303 across platforms: Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Tidal, his YouTube channel, Instagram and his official site.
